Job Title: Creche Assistant

Location:  TW2 Health and Fitness Club, Twickenham

Employment Type: Part Time From 8 hours

Reports to: Creche Supervisor

Salary: £12.71 per hour

The Role

Are you passionate about early years childcare and looking to work in a vibrant, health focused environment? We are looking for an energetic and reliable Creche Assistant to join our team in here at TW2 Health and Fitness Club based at the iconic Allianz Stadium.

Our creche provides a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the children of our members while they enjoy the club’s facilities. Your goal is to ensure that every child has a fantastic experience, giving parents total peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities

• Childcare Excellence: Provide high quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years, engaging them in age appropriate play, crafts, and storytelling.

• Safety & Security: Maintain strict check in and check out procedures and ensure the creche remains a secure environment at all times.

• Health & Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the creche, including sanitising toys and equipment, and assisting with snack times or nappy changes as required.

• Member Interaction: Greet parents professionally, provide feedback on their child's session, and handle inquiries with a friendly, can do attitude.

• Compliance: Adhere to all Health and Safety, Safeguarding, regulations

About You

• Experience: Previous experience working with children in Nursery, Creche, or Childminding, school environment

• Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare a NVQ or CACHE is highly preferred.

• Energy: You are proactive, patient, and possess a genuine love for working with children.

• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both toddlers and adults.

• Reliability: You are punctual and understand the importance of being present to maintain staff to child ratios.

Requirements

• Must live within a commutable distance of TW2 Health and Fitness Club, Twickenham

• Must undergo an Enhanced DBS check

• Flexible working times including occasional weekends
