Party Supervisor / Play Leader

12 hours per week - weekend work

Primary objectives for the Play Leader will be:

• To ensure the bouncy castle and soft play parties and supervised and run at the standard required by the NOP and company policies.

• To ensure the highest possible standards of Childcare are provided at all times.

The Play Leader will focus day to day on the following tasks:

• Supervise children in the delivery of parties.

• Ensure the continued safety and security of all children.

• Constantly examine all equipment, materials and areas that are used and through the unit fault reporting system report any defects or hazards immediately to your line manager.

• Liaise with parents to ensure correct information is provided on all aspects of their child’s care.

• To follow the requirements of the Child Protection Policy.

• To attend training and development as required.

• To undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required by the facility management.

The Candidate

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

A level 3 childcare qualification would be desirable.
A paediatric first aid qualification would be desirable.

Personal
The postholder must have a wonderful way with children and be attentive and caring at all times.A good communicator and an imaginative approach to play and distraction techniques are an important part of this role.
Should have good interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition.

DBS

Play Leader and Party Supervisor positions are classed as regulated posts and therefore will require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the postholder to be submitted for a DBS check.
