Cleaner/ General Assistant | Hengrove Park  Leisure Centre

Part Time / 20 hours per two weeks x 2 vacancies

We are currently looking for a weekend Cleaner to complete various routine and deep cleaning tasks around the building including the use of cleaning machines. This role will be based on a two week rotation meaning you will work one weekend on (8:00 - 18-00) and the next weekend off. There will also be available overtime if required.

Primary objectives for the Cleaner will be:

• To clean all areas of the facility as per the cleaning rota’s and direction of the management team.

• To maintain safe working practices at all times.

The Cleaner will focus day to day on the following tasks:

• To follow the cleaning rota’s set down in the facility ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.

• To take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and follow safe working practices.

• To ensure all cleaning procedures are followed at all times and relevant PPE is worn as required.

• To report any safety issues or concerns that may arise.

• To maintain and store cleaning equipment as required.

• To carry out any task that may be relevant to your role as directed by the management team.

The Person

• Will have excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition.

• Will be able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and the teams involved.

• Will be able to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours when required.
