The Opportunity

A vacancy has arisen for a Contract Maintenance Manager for our Cherwell and West Northamptonshire contracts.

 

Are you the kind of person who can fix just about anything and will find joy in making sure things run smoothly in our leisure centres?

 

Reporting to the Area Manager, the successful candidate will be required to take responsibility for the effective management and operation of all aspects of the maintenance and compliance at our 6 leisure sites. Facilities include swimming pools, sports halls, squash courts, health suites and fitness facilities.

 

The Cherwell Contract is located in North Oxfordshire and comprises four thriving leisure centre’s - Spiceball Leisure Centre, Bicester Leisure Centre and Kidlington Leisure Centres and Woodgreen Outdoor Pool. The West Northamptonshire contract comprises two large sites - Towcester Leisure Centre and Brackley Leisure Centre.

 

You'll be the leader of the maintenance teams and will support the Centre Manager’s to create an exceptional experience for our customers and our team members,  from external surroundings, plant rooms and general public areas.

 

You'll balance planned project work, audit performance and reactive tasks to drive the centre maintenance teams to create an exceptional environment.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need maintenance coverage that matches this. Our maintenance team work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. Shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at the interview.

DBS

  • The position of Maintenance Manager may be classed as a regulated post and therefore may require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS check, it may be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
