Established in 1995, Parkwood Leisure is a leading UK provider managing over 84 diverse leisure facilities for 26 local authorities across England and Wales, specialising in their development and operation.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Objectives for the Contract Monitoring Manager Position will be to:

  • Ensure full contractual compliance at the facility.

  • Monitor daily contract performance and resolve issues immediately.

  • Proactively manage the Help Desk to prevent deductions and reduce recorded items.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.

  • Protect company image and credibility.

 

The Contract Monitoring Manager will focus day to day on the following tasks:

  • Support Contract and Assistant Contract Managers for contractual adherence and improvement.

  • Manage Help Desk systems effectively.

  • Ensure information systems meet Authority and SPV needs.

  • Strategically review and improve operational procedures.

  • Develop and maintain quality-assured facilities procedures (aligned with company policy).

  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety policy.

  • Assist in maintaining building standards.

  • Manage, develop, and coordinate staff effectively.

  • Provide reports, management information, and data as requested.

  • Collate KPI data and trend analysis for stakeholders.

  • Attend and present at client meetings.

  • Oversee site self-monitoring of contractual performance (e.g., Cleaning, Security).

  • Liaise with contractors for PPM and reactive maintenance.

  • Ensure effective information dissemination across the contract.

  • Maintain workplace consultation arrangements.

  • Foster a proactive motivational culture.

  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.

 

The Person

A proven track record in managing and developing facilities the post holder will ideally have achieved a presence within the industry that ensures personal credibility.  The post holder will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and hold an Enhanced DBS check.
