Fitness Manager 

Primary objectives for the Fitness Manager will be:

  • To ensure all Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities are carried out at all times.

  • To promote excellence of customer services and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communications and selling skills.

  • To take responsibility for all aspects of the daily operation of the gym facilities.

  • To ensure the development and growth of the expressions membership base.

  • To ensure the successful implementation and operation of the G.P. exercise referral programme

The Fitness Manager will focus day to day on the following tasks:

  • Manage daily facility operations on a shift rota

  • Ensure awareness of all Health & safety issues, especially in the gym 

  • Achieve gym financial objectives and implement related procedures 

  • Maximise participation in course and activities, monitor and improve performance 

  • Produce monthly performance reports, statistics, targets 

  • Identify and assess new activity feasibility

  • Keep staff informed of Centre activities and events

  • .Assist with the management of quality assurance systems 

  • Undertake other duties to achieve centre business objectives
