Fitness Manager | Crosby, Liverpool

Full-Time / 40 hours

We are looking for a Fitness Manager to lead our state-of-the-art fitness facility and take it to new heights! As the Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee a team and work closely with them to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our members.

Crosby Leisure Centre is an award-winning PFI facility located by the coast side, which opened in 2003. We have a 25m swimming pool, learner pool, fitness gym, specialist dance studios, sports hall, 2 squash courts, and an onsite café. The Person

• You will ideally possess the REPS level 2 or equivalent qualification and be willing to work variable hours, including some evenings and weekends.

• You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the gym team to ensure the retention strategy is implemented. You will also work with the sales team to ensure targets are achieved.

• You should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and experience working in a wet/dry facility.

• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and being able to work well in a team are essential

• Must be able to promote customer service excellence and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communication and selling skills

• Ensure the highest levels of safety in the day-to-day running of the facility.

• The position is subject to a DBS check.
