Full Time & Part Time
We are currently looking for a Front of House Assistant to take the lead in interacting with members and actively promote our philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence in the service we provide.
The Job
Front of House Assistants have a varied and interesting role. The activities in a Leisure Centre are wide ranging and the involvement with people is continuous. This allows for an exciting day, using your skills on a diverse range of jobs. The primary objectives of your role would be to:
Ensure that all the people who enter the Leisure Centre receive a friendly, polite and efficient service driving our site Net Promoter Score.
Create a favourable first impression of the Leisure Centre
Have a good range of knowledge regarding the Leisure Centre
Promote and sell 'Learn to Swim' and ‘Fitness’ memberships by actively engaging in the sales process.
Handle food preparation tasks.
Ensure goods and counters are restocked to support the achievement of secondary revenue targets.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by efficiently and effectively managing phone calls whilst still providing excellent face-to-face service, contributing to the site's target of a 95% answered call rate. A key responsibility is using a Welsh greeting when answering the phone. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, it is not an essential requirement for this role.
The Person
A strong sales drive and culture are essential for this role.
Must be confident when face to face or on the phone to customers.
You will have strong interpersonal and customer facing skills and become knowledgeable about our facility and the services we provide
You will ideally be able to demonstrate competency of working in an administrative role
Capability in customer relations and basic computer skills are essential requirements for this post
You must be friendly, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a good understanding of customer service and customer care
You will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team
