£11.50 per hour

Located in the heart of Bexley we are a modern facility offering a 25m swimming pool, 20m teaching pool, 200 station gym, Indoor Cycling Studio, Dance Studio, Sports hall, Steps to Health Programme and MSK Health Hub.

The Opportunity

As part of an exciting national Musculoskeletal Health Hubs Project, we are currently looking for a part time Health Facilitator at Crook Log Leisure Centre in Bexley.

The Person

We are looking for a Health Facilitator who can motivate and support people living with musculoskeletal health conditions across a range of health programmes. The candidate will be confident with engaging and facilitating groups of people,  supporting participants to lead healthier, happier lives (to a level of knowledge delivered in the Good Boost and Arthritis Training and supporting ESCAPE Pain instructors).
Able to understand the risks of activity following a risk assessment and respond to potential risks in accordance with any risk assessment. The Health Facilitator does not need to have any specialist IT skills. You must be comfortable facilitating both dryside, and in water (for the aquatic programme). You must be able to complete an online training course (4 hours). 
Driving our brand, you must be able to work to targets, and adhere to our company and sales procedures. The role promotes the safety and enjoyment of everybody who uses our facilities and motivates our customers to benefit from exercise. As the successful candidate you must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team.

The Health Coordinator will undertake online Arthritis Action and Good Boost Facilitator training. If GP Level 3 or 4 qualified, the participant may be able to undertake ESCAPE Pain training.
