Junior Marketing Executive

 

Up to 6-months Maternity Cover

 

Full Time | Home and Remote Working | Free Gym Membership

 

Please note, you will need your own, or access to, a vehicle as UK wide travel is required.

 

Overview

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to be at the forefront of local marketing campaigns, developing and implementing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and ultimately business growth.

 

Primary Objectives

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for, amongst other things

  • Developing and implementing cohesive marketing plans

  • Overseeing the creation and delivery of marketing collateral, such as brochures, adverts, press releases, social media posts

  • Growing and managing Parkwood’s online presence, by writing creative content, adapting positive news stories from Sites

  • Site visits, including facilitating photo and videography shoots, all to create engaging content to post on our channels

The Person

  • A proactive self-starter who is able to manage their own time productively

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with written and verbal communication skills, to both craft campaign messages, also to respond to comments and address customer enquiries promptly and professionally

  • Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills to deliver multiple projects on time and to a high standard

  • Excellent people skills, enabling you to build successful relationships with key stakeholders to support them with promotional opportunities

  • To Deliver and understand feedback

About the role

Qualifications and Experience

 

Essential

  • Demonstrable and relevant experience in a similar marketing role, gained ideally within a fast paced B2C business environment

  • Able to work remotely, with regular travel, expenses paid, to Parkwood Sites throughout the UK, so use of own vehicle essential, and hold a valid UK driving licence, and have own transport

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, platforms and tools

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box

  • Strong copywriting skills

  • Able to work remotely, at home and on Site, using self initiative

Desirable

  • A recognised qualification in marketing, or a related discipline

  • Previous content management system experience

  • Face to face stakeholder management experience
