Membership Advisor | Crosby Leisure Centre

16 hours per week

We are currently looking for a Membership Advisor who can promote and increase membership sales within the centre. Located by the coast side, Crosby Leisure Centre is an award-winning PFI facility that opened in 2003. Offering a 25m swimming pool, learner pool, fitness gym, specialist dance studio, sports hall, 2 squash courts, and a friendly onsite café. The primary objectives for the Membership advisor will be:

  • To actively promote membership packages within the centre in line with instructions from the Sales Manager/Centre Manager

  • To assist in delivering the highest level of customer care, including meeting regularly with existing members to ensure the level of service is maintained

  • To assist in the promotion and marketing of the centre, its services and facilities, which entails outreach in the surrounding areas

  • To maximise new business conversion through effective sales closure

  • To maximise cross-selling and up-selling opportunities through proactive initiatives

  • To handle membership enquiries and bookings

The Person

  • Ideally a sales background in a similar role, although training will be provided

  • You must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team

  • Shifts include working evenings and weekends

  • Must be friendly, have a positive attitude and be a good communicator

  • Have a good understanding of IT & customer care skills

  • Must be able to build strong relationships with customers, clients and employees.

  • Professional telephone and interpersonal manner
