Receptionist | Breckland Leisure Centre

Part Time/Fixed Term and Casual (Up To 25.5 hours per week)

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to take the lead in interacting with members and actively promote our philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence in the service we provide.

The Job

Receptionists have a varied and interesting role.  The activities in a Leisure Centre are wide ranging and the involvement with people is continuous.  This allows for an exciting day, using your skills on a diverse range of jobs. The primary objective of your role would be to:

  • Ensure that all the people who enter the Leisure Centre receive a friendly, polite and efficient service

  • Create a favourable first impression of the Leisure Centre

  • Have a good range of knowledge regarding the Leisure Centre

The Person

  • You will have strong interpersonal and customer facing skills and become knowledgeable about our facility and the services we provide

  • You will ideally be able to demonstrate competency of working in an administrative role

  • Capability in cash handling, customer relations and basic computer skills are essential requirements for this post

  • You must be friendly, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a good understanding of customer service and customer care

  • You will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team
