Sales Advisor | Llantwit Major Leisure Centre

The Job
We are currently looking for a Sales Advisor to take the lead in hosting and interacting with members whilst actively promoting our philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence in the service we provide. The activities in a Leisure Centre are wide ranging and the involvement with people is continuous. The primary objectives of your role would be to:
Ensure that all the people who enter the Leisure Centre receive a friendly, polite and efficient service driving our site Net Promoter Score.
Create a great first impression of the Leisure Centre
Have a good range of knowledge regarding the Leisure Centre
Promote and sell 'Learn to Swim' and ‘Fitness’ memberships by actively engaging in the sales process.
Presenting our swim retail offer is also involved and be actively involved in maintaining standards and stocking up to help achieve our secondary revenue targets for the team.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by efficiently and effectively managing phone calls whilst still providing excellent face-to-face service, contributing to the site's target of a 95% answered call rate. A key responsibility is using a Welsh greeting when answering the phone. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, it is not an essential requirement for this role.

You need to be a people person, approachable and proactive.
A strong sales drive and culture are essential for this role.

All team members will be smart and well presented in the appropriate uniform and with a name badge.
All areas of the building will be spotlessly clean at all times.
All team members will aim to deal with a customer request immediately, if they can’t they will get someone who can.
Must be confident when face to face or on the phone to customers.
You will have strong interpersonal and customer facing skills and become knowledgeable about our facility and the services we provide
To be able to deal with existing customer enquiries, new potential party bookings and careful handling of data inline with GDPR.
Capability in customer relations and basic computer skills are essential requirements for this post
You must be friendly, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a good understanding of customer service and customer care
You will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team
