The Hawth Theatre in Crawley is looking for experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead the Sales and Marketing teams in all aspects of promoting and generating sales for the Theatre's busy programme of shows and events.

• The post holder will manage the Sales & Marketing department in carrying out their functions to the desired standard. In particular they will be responsible for maximising attendance and income for all shows and events at The Hawth.

• Establishing sales targets and monitoring results generated by the Sales teams and online, providing updates for producers, promoters and the Company as required

• The formulation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy for The Hawth including designing bespoke plans for producers of longer-running productions.

• To manage the design and production of marketing materials including, but not limited to; advertising, printing, social media and online marketing

GCSE passes in English and Mathematics are highly desirable.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with desktop publishing applications (Adobe Creative Suite), along with proficiency in the use of specialist sales and marketing platforms such as Magnolia CMS, Spektrix Box Office and dotdigital or equivalent(s).

Experience with social media management is essential.

• Possess a high level of communication skills, both written and spoken

• Demonstrate an aptitude for building strong relationships with customers, clients and colleagues

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of all customer requirements

• Be able to meet deadlines and prioritise often competing demands

• Possess numeracy, literacy and IT skills appropriate to the successful fulfilment of the post
