Job Description

The Sales & Marketing Manager position is a key position in the Company. Carrying out continuous customer and staff relations services, the position provides the postholder with a genuinely rewarding experience and provides a springboard to a leisure management career in one of the most attractive and fast growing leisure management companies.

Primary objectives for the Sales & Marketing Manager will be:

  • To take responsibility for all aspects of the sales journey from mystery shops to hitting the monthly membership targets.

  • To drive lead generation and ensure these leads are managed and communicated with using the SLP and Atremo.

  • To ensure the development and growth of the membership base.

  • To have an involvement in the day-to-day management of the membership team, setting KPI’s, motivating the staff and delivering training to ensure the highest levels of customer service are always achieved.

  • To actively network within the community to the benefit of the company, creating corporate links, marketing opportunities and embedding the center within the heart of the community.

  • To ensure all social media platforms are managed to aid in lead generation and community engagement.

  • To drive the delivery of the Marketing of the Riviera International Centre and Torbay Leisure Centre.

  • To drive the delivery of improved brand identity and external communications strategies.

  • To manage the Marketing budgets to ensure maximum value and return on investment.

  • To identify local opportunities for marketing and execute them in an effective manner.

  • Attending corporate days  and local events

  • Coordinate the Promising Athlete's Programme, create profiles and share on social media to drive awareness and leads.

  • To organise 2 open days per year at each site.

  • To manage the details on the website.

  • To promote birthday parties and reestablish them at the Riviera International Centre

The Sales & Marketing Manager will focus day to day on the following tasks:

  • To ensure that the financial objectives of the centres health and fitness lines are achieved and the appropriate financial systems and procedures are implemented.

  • To achieve 90% in all mystery shops on the front of house team and through the sales process.

  • To produce monthly performance records, statistics, targets and reports.

  • To manage the marketing of the centre both internally and online.

  • To ensure sufficient staff are available for the delivery of the monthly sales target.

  • To identify, develop and deliver appropriate staff training and development.

  • To ensure all facilities are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort.

  • To assist in the management of the Centre’s quality assurance systems and procedures.

  • To undertake any other duties as may be required by the Centre Manager to ensure that the business objectives of the Centre are achieved.

The Candidate

As the successful candidate you must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team. You will ideally have an NVQ level 3 in management.
