We are looking to recruit ​motivated, hardworking and conscientious individual at Sidcup Leisure Centre to work as a full time Sales & Fitness Manager.

The successful candidates’ main role will be to manage all aspects of the Sales & Fitness sector, to ensure all Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities are carried out at all times. You will need to be flexible, reliable, enthusiastic, possess good communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team and have a “Can Do Attitude”. You will be highly organised, hungry for sales and results driven whilst being an effective team leader and team player. You will need to possess the ability to drive individuals to maximise their sales potential to ensure all financial goals and targets are met.

You will be a key team member in the successful operation of the leisure facility, with responsibilities for initiating and implementing promotional activity to drive sales. You will take responsibility for relentlessly driving sales, revenue and profit across an interesting and diverse contract.

To promote excellence in customer services and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communication and selling skills and to take responsibility for all aspects of the daily operation of the gym facilities.

You will ​be responsible for the Sales Advisors & Fitness Instructor team and work on a shift rota system to undertake the daily operation of the facilities. You will be aware of all Health and Safety issues within the Fitness Suite, guide care for and assist all gym users  and ensure all facilities are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort. The candidate ideally will hold a current YMCA qualification or equivalent in a Leisure related subject. This position would suit a current manager seeking a new challenge or someone looking for a step up from their current position.
