Senior Maintenance Technician

Senior Technician, Maintenance Job Description Cardiff international Pool are looking for an experienced individual to oversee the daily running of the site pool plant rooms and ensuring internal day-to-day maintenance is carried out. 

Ideally you will be self motivated, have experience in basic swimming pool repairs, swimming pool chemistry and proficient trade skills as well as a 'DIY' attitude. You will need to be able to think on your feet, as well as having a full driving license, be able to swim and great customer service skills joining our team on a permanent basis. 

This exciting role involves 

• Maintenance of swimming pools and management of pool water quality 
• Routine water testing and necessary actions for safety • Plant operations and chemical safety 
• General maintenance and repairs, including plumbing and equipment 
• Troubleshooting and addressing guest-reported issues promptly 
• Collaboration with management on potential future problems 
• Adherence to Health and Safety standards 

Skills and attributes 

• Excellent knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance 
• Previous experience as a pool technician 
• Extensive knowledge of pool chemicals 
• Proficient handyman trade skills 
• Detail-orientated and attentive 
• Work independently and self-supervising 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong time management in a fast-paced environment 

Qualifications and Experience Levels 

Pool Plant qualification or similar 

Previous experience of working with Facilities management 

Practical hands-on approach to problem solving 

PC skills
