The Opportunity

We are looking for an adaptable experienced manager to oversee our transactional and reconciliation teams.

Primary objectives and responsibilities for the role will be

  • Responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, EPOS system interfaces and revenue, payroll and VAT reconciliation.

  • Working capital management and cash flow forecasting for multiple statutory entities.

  • Monitoring the transactional team performance against preset KPIS

  • Overseeing VAT compliance and review of VAT returns prior to submission

  • Monitoring allocated income/payroll balance sheet reconciliations to minimise accounting risks

  • Improving internal processes, effectiveness of analysis and reporting process

  • Supporting our operational teams with relevant training and advice

The Person

  • Well grounded in financial control and reporting

  • Able to work with a high degree of independence and as part of a multi-disciplined team

  • Motivated by responsibility and targets, enjoys and values good results

  • Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders, customers and suppliers

  • IT proficient, with good spreadsheet skills

  • Must have a hands on approach and commercial attitude
