We are looking for a Swimming Lesson Manager to manage our swimming programme in accordance with the National Teaching Plan, and to ensure that our brand is promoted throughout the site. You will need to possess exceptional personable skills and form working relationships with Industry Organisations whilst adhering to our Philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence. You will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge within the industry and hold relevant qualifications to be supplemented by Continuous Professional Development. You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends to suit the needs of the Swimming Lesson Programme

The Role

  • Business Development ​
  • Understand KPI's​
  • Review figures weekly/monthly​
  • Competitor analysis​
  • Understand there programme strategy and where it is going​
  • Coordinating Swim Programmes ​
  • Maximising pool space and timetabling​
  • Ensuring all programme offered is to the highest quality​
  • Improving sales by engaging and retaining customers​
  • Reducing waiting lists and preventing bottlenecks​
  • Wider participation pathways​
  • Observation and Mentoring ​
  • Identify strengths and areas for development​
  • Using and adapting motivational techniques​
  • Positively dealing with staff conflict​
  • Marketing​
  • Collecting and using customer feedback ​
  • Recognising positive stories and opportunities to create good content​
  • Understanding when a marketing campaign is needed to sell more spaces ​
  • Understanding both the companies and the site-specific USP, and capitalising on it​
  • Communication ​
  • Using Appropriate communication methods for all stakeholders​
  • Impacting the effectiveness of communication
